What is RUM TURBO?

RUM TURBO is yeast for molasses. Molasses has a large amount of non-fermentable sugars that create an enormous osmotic pressure at fermentation. Molasses is the most difficult substance to ferment at all when brewing Rum and often reaches only 7% alcohol. RUM TURBO yeast reaches much higher levels, typically 11%.
